Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao is an American born Cuban artist and singer. Her fame was forged as a girl-group member, Fifth Harmony. The group was one of the most successful girl-groups of ever. Cabello became a singer-songwriter while being in Fifth Harmony. She released two songs "I Know what You Did This Summer" and "Bad Things" Both of them featured collaborations in collaboration with Shawn Mendes. The latter song reached number 4 in the US Billboard Hot 100. Her departure from the group came at the end of 2016. Her debut studio album, Camila (2018), came in at number one among the US Billboard 200. This Latin-influenced album was awarded a Platinum Certificate from the RIAA. Its opening track "Havana" was a top chart hit in several countries such as Australia, the US and UK in addition to the following single "Never Be the Same" was a top 10 hit across many countries. Cabello's duet "Senorita" with Mendes in the year 2019 was her second Billboard Hot 100 single. The second album of her studio, Romance (2019), reached number three at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, with the single "My Oh My" peaking at number 12 on the Hot 100. as well as inside the top 10 in multiple countries. It was in 2021 that Cabello made her acting debut in the role of her character's title in the film Cinderella. Cabello's third album Familia was made available through Cabello in April 2022. The first single, "Don't Go Yet" was launched in July 2021. [4] The second single released from Familia, "Bam Bam" was a top 5 hit in the Billboard Global 200 Chart, Cabello's top entry. It climbed at the top of the charts in many countries. Additionally, it reached 21 within the Billboard Hot 100. Familia made it to number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart,[3] and is also number 9 in UK. The single peaked at six in Canada. Cabello has recorded billions of streams on music platforms, and "Havana" has been ranked as the highest-priced digital single of 2018, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Cabello's many awards include two Latin Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, and one Billboard Music Award.
